Kindergarten Pumpkin Sunsets

Nature sometimes gives us amazing views, vibrant colors, and stimulating illusions. Sunsets and sunrises are one of nature’s many colorful canvases. The warm glowing colors in the sky can easily be reproduced on paper.

Our Kindergarten students learned about sunrises and sunsets and the colors they make in the sky. They also learned about what happens to objects as they are introduced to the sunlight. Crayons were used to draw and color the pumpkins, and watercolors were used to paint the skies. The crayon repels the watercolors and allows for the crayons to show through the watercolors.
