Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers"


Vincent Van Gogh is known for a series of paintings titled “Sunflowers”. Students replicated his painting using oil pastels and crayons. They learned about organic and geometric shapes found in nature and in a man-made environment. They were urged to keep their colors lively and bright, which meant avoiding browns and blacks.
